A general manager central to an ongoing legal dispute with sports radio host Paul Finebaum is no longer with the Cumulus stations. On Thursday, management told Cumulus employees in Birmingham that Bill Thomas was being replaced as general manager. John Walker, general manager of Cumulus’ Huntsville stations will manage both markets. Finebaum sued his employer, saying he was unfairly pressured into renewing his contract.

Russ Campbell, an attorney for Finebaum, declined to comment on the personel changes at Cumulus.

“We prefer to limit our comments to our pleadings in the case,” he said.
