Susan James, an attorney for defendant Jay Walker, says she thinks she’s well on her way to a fair jury.
“We’ve just got a good cross section from surrounding areas, and people are being very candid,” James said.
Questions about the bumper stickers on potential jurors cars “have hidden agendas,” James says. “They’re just important to finding out whether jurors are going to be fair.”
Jury questioning continues today, the third day of this vote-buying case. Sources suggest that jury selection could end by tomorrow.
