No one know his audience better than Jimmy Buffett. On Saturday, February 25, Buffett & The Coral Reefer Band returned to Birmingham for a performance at the BJCC Arena. Playing to a sold-out crowd, the Alabama native tossed in “Stars Fell On Alabama,” “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Birmingham” and “Bama Breeze” alongside catalog staples including “Margaritaville,” “Come Monday” and “A Pirate Looks At Forty.” Engaging the crowd with between-song anecdotes of his Mobile upbringing, Buffett also flashed Alabama and Auburn football video clips on the overhead screens to create an added frenzy.
