Running for office in November? Weld believes voters and others have a right to hear what you have to say, and you have a right to say it. So we’re offering the opportunity to anyone on the ballot in the statewide elections to state your platform in our online blog space. Write what you want the people to hear about you and what you will do if elected. Tell voters why they should vote for you, and not Brand X or the Party of the Second Part.
Here’s how simple it is: send an email to editor@weldbham.com with your name, party affiliation, and which office you seek. Speak your piece about your candidacy in 500 words or less. After we’ve verified you are who you say you are, we’ll post it here, which will make it accessible to anyone who wants to see it. Barring technical difficulties, your speech, manifesto, or platform should be online at least until the election ends and a winner is declared in your race. No purchase necessary.
It’s never been easier to tell the people who you are and what you stand for. You’ve got freedom of speech. Here’s your chance to use it. Send your comments to editor@weldbham.com.
